Pipefitter for assignment in Fagersta/Norberg – Full-time until December 30, 2026, with possibility of extension

We are now looking for an experienced pipefitter for a full-time position within operations, maintenance, and construction work. This assignment is suitable for you who have documented experience with water and sewer (VA) / pipe installation work and are accustomed to practical field work.

Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Start: According to agreement.

Working hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 06:30–16:00
• Friday: 06:30–13:00

Workplace: The work is performed on-site in Fagersta/Norberg. You must be able to arrive at the workplace at 06:30 according to the schedule.

Responsibilities

You will work with pipe installation and related operations, maintenance, and construction work. Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

• Pipe installation
• Sleeve welding
• Handling of VRS systems
• Work with water and sewer pipelines and associated construction work
• Handling of valves and piping systems
• Other common work within operations, maintenance, and construction

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must meet all of the following requirements:

• You have APV training.
• You have knowledge and experience in pipe installation.
• You have knowledge and experience in sleeve welding.
• You have knowledge and experience with VRS systems.
• You have training in Safe Water (Säkert Vatten).
• You have training in asbestos.
• You have training in silica dust.
• You have training in safe excavation.
• You have training in safe lifting.
• You have a valid training/certificate for hot work.
• You have a B-driver's license for manual transmission.
• You can work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• You can work on-site in Fagersta/Norberg and start the workday at 06:30.

Merits

It is a merit if you:

• Have previous experience with water and sewer works for municipal operations, technical maintenance, or public environments.
• Have current experience with ductile iron/VRS systems.
• Have documented experience in plastic welding/sleeve welding.
• Are available with a short notice period.
• Have your own means of transport to the workplace in Fagersta/Norberg.
• Have documented course certificates and certificates ready to be submitted immediately.

Are experienced, meticulous, and safety-conscious. You are accustomed to practical pipe installation work and understand the importance of correct installations, safe working methods, and that the work is carried out according to instructions. You need to be able to work independently but also function well in a team.
